The golden-winged warbler first reported on Friday May 2 at Highbanks Metro Park (Delaware County) by Rob Lowry was seen again this morning (Saturday May 3).

Ken Davis and I heard and saw it briefly about 6:45 a.m. near the beginning of the pet trail, on the north side just past the signboard.  Unfortunately, we could not re-find it when the 7 a.m. park warbler walk went by.  But I re-found it about 7:30 a.m., and followed it while it worked the trees between where the pet trail begins at the parking lot and about 100 yards further down the trail.  Paul Gardner and  Brad Sparks joined me a little after 9 a.m. where we found it again in the same area.

The golden-winged warbler sang quite a bit, which definitely made it easier to find in the rain, and associated with two blue-winged warblers most of the time this morning.
