John Beatty, my wife and I went to Edge of Appalachia this evening to
listen for Whip-poor-wills and Chuck-wills-widows. We were not
disappointed. We heard several whips and at least 4 chuck-wills-widows.
In addition we had Kentucky Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Yellow-rumped
Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, Baltimore Orioles and more. I am too tired
right now to think of them all. We didn't get there until 7:00 this
evening.
