At least four pair of Bobolink in Meadow Creek Subdivision, a street going west off of Chamberlain Rd. the birds are on the lots on north side of the street - #20-23 (3 or 5 acres each) 1/4 mile south of Winchell Road in Mantua, Portage Co. I've been looking in this area to find out where they are breeding. Most of the farms seem to harvest about now and I'd guess that keeps the Boblink population down over time. This subdivision of large lots has only 2 of the 24 lots sold, and with our housing market I guess the birds found a good field this year anyway. Dave English, Lake Lucerne
