Hi Everyone,

I donıt remember hearing Wood Thrush at Shaker Lakes in the past. Thatıs not
surprising; though they undoubtedly pass through, the area is a little small
for my understanding of what they would need to nest. But this year, I have
heard Wood Thrush songs several times near the Nature Center.

Yesterday evening, Beth and I arrived at the Nature Center at about 5:15. We
heard a Wood Thrush singing north of the boardwalk area, and managed to get
a good look at the bird singing. The bird sang incessantly, and my guess is
in vain...

Skaer Lakes in off North ark Blvd, on the border between Shaker Hts and
Clveland Hts.

Best wishes,

Steve Cagan
