Ohio atlasers,

I think I have Region 53 envy ;-). Unlike the -23- birders who helped with
Region 53 blockbusting last weekend, down here in SE Ohio, we were
delighted to have 6 birders helping out last weekend.

We had a great weekend - in the 3 blocks we surveyed, we had 72 species (22
confirmations), 51 species (10 confirmations), and 64 species (25
confirmations). 'Best' bird was probably a confirmed Blue Grosbeak, one of
three different observations in one block. Cutest birds were the warbler
fledglings (although a tail-free Towhee came in a close second).

Please consider visiting our neck of the woods - you can make a big
difference in this under-birded region of the state!
