I apologize for this late posting.
The Reddish Egret first reported on June 5 was present on Saturday, June
14.
When I arrived around 9:00 am it was in the middle of the flooded sandbar
"dancing".
It continued feeding for several minutes, then flew to the western edge of
the sandbar and landed near a flock of gulls.
When the gulls scattered for whatever reason, the egret flew back to the
eastern edge of the sandbar (near the small breakwall)
where it remained for the rest of the time I was there (approx 2 hours).
Some excellent views of this bird, but unfortunately I did not have a
camera.

The only other birds of note were (5) Capian Terns and (3) Common Terns.
Also seen: Ring-Billed, Herring & Bonaparte's Gulls, Gr. Blue Heron, Green
Heron, Belted Kingfisher,
Bank & Barn Swallows, Purple Martin & Marsh Wren.
No shorebirds at all.
