The lark sparrow found by Nancy Anderson at Chagrin River Park in Willoughby, Lake County was seen this morning. I got to see it around 9:30 thanks to some people that located it earlier. The bird was feeding in the gravel near the small mound at the south end of the landfill. It flew toward the southwest corner of the landfill where it landed in a small dead tree and sang twice. It was not seen or heard after that. The DICKCISSEL was also found. It was under the power lines directly east of the landfill. Also seen were savannah sparrow, bobolink, eastern meadowlark, and sora.

Chagrin River Park is off the Lost Nation exit off Rte 2. For directions see http://www.lakemetroparks.com/
