I was able to get off early from work today and drove up from Huntington,WV to locate the well publicized Black Rail at Charlie's Pond.I arrived at 145 pm and around 215 pm,it started vocalizing on 3 different occasions thru 245 pm on the south side of Radcliffe Rd (Township Hwy. 51), just west of some larger shrubs.It was a pleasure to hear it calling.
