A TRICOLORED HERON was seen this afternoon around 3:00 on Blair Road in
Perry Township. The bird was along the edge of northernmost of two ponds.
I turned around in hopes of getting a photo, but when I slowed down it
flushed. I drove back down that road on my way home but found no sign of
the bird.

To get to the site take River Road to Blair Road and then go south about a
half mile and before you go down the hill to the Grand river there are two
ponds on the west side of the road. there are a number of other ponds along
River Road not too far away. I checked those also with no luck. The bird
could even be down by the river. If I relocate it I'll pass it along.
