Bonnie and I spent the morning watching the young Ospreys at the Mound Road
access to Caesar Creek Lake. Then in the afternoon, I got a call from a
friend of the "baby bird fell out of the nest" variety that local birders
invariably get at this time of the year. This one, however, was a
local-plumaged Turkey Vulture practically covered in fluffy white down. For
