SPECIES IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS ARE REVIEW-LIST SPECIES. Details of
these sightings are desired by The Ohio Bird Records Committee. Careful
observation, not ornithological expertise, is the only qualification
for submitting your data. For details and pointers see:
http://www.ohiobirds.org/records/documentation.php

Little Blue Heron: The adult bird at Pike Creek was seen again on the
21st. It prefers Unit D but has been reported from Unit C.

BLACK-NECKED STILT: Tom Barlett reported four adult birds on the 24th
from the presumed nest location along TR 80 in Seneca County, just
south of Seneca County Line Road (CR 113) and north of C34 near
Bellevue. No young birds were seen.

Willet: Sally Isacco saw one at Pipe Creek on the 17th and passed along
a second-hand report of another seen at the impoundment at Lorain on
the same day.

EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE: One continues in Coshocton County at 31380
TR 236 south of Baltic. Birders are welcome.

WESTERN KINGBIRD: Brian Wulker reported one from a field at the Super
Wal-Mart in Evandale, Hamilton County on the 22nd. The bird has not
been relocated since.

Bell's Vireo: David Rankin found one singing on the 12th west of Ada in
eastern Allen County. The directions are “Take Hwy 81 west out of Ada,
cross the Allen/Hardin county line and turn north on Pevee … the vireo
was hanging out in the [wetland] area closer to Hwy 81.”

Clay-colored Sparrow: The Oak Openings MetroPark bird was seen on the
19th along Girdham Road south of Monclova Road near the rail fence.
There is another long-continuing bird on private land near Walnut Creek
in Holmes County. For directions call the Bobolink RBA (330-763-5119).

Western Meadowlark: The resident bird at Range Line and Cygnet Roads
about six miles west of Cygnet, Wood County, was relocated on the 19th.

Yellow-headed Blackbird: Brian Zwiebel saw an adult and a juvenile in
the interior of Metzger Marsh Wildlife Area on the 20th.
