This morning the only bird of interest on Caesar Creek beach was a juvenile Herring Gull. The Osprey nest visible from the end of Mound Road was very interesting. The three nearly grown juveniles were clearly visible as was one of the adults eating a fish. The other adult was constantly calling though I did not see it. Even though the chicks are large they cannot be seen when they hunker down but today they were all standing.
The Prothonotary was also singing.

Summer Day Cheers, Larry Gara
