An adult male blue grosbeak is singing on territory at "Seip Mound." He was on the telephone line south of US Rt 50, west of the main burial mound.

Henslow's sparrows and dickcissels are still singing in the old field, SW of the mound.

Seip Earthworks are located on US Rt. 50 just east of Bainbridge in Ross Co. Look for the "Seip Mound" sign near Paint Valley High School. Their is an ODOT rest area there near the road. The earthworks are open to the public every day as part of Hopewell Culture National Historical Park. (Seip Earthworks are about a half hour away from the main NPS visitor center at Mound City.)
