As Charlie mentioned in his post, my daughter and I went with him on a tour of Hoover Reservoir. For me It was a time to try to figure out my camera as well as a time to see some great birds.  

In addition to the birds listed by Charlie, I got to have some camera time with a belted kingfisher over at Mudhen Marsh...but I couldn't get close enough to get good clear pictures. So I chalked it up to a learning experience.
