I realize that this is "off-topic" to a degree, but can anyone give
any tips or advice on birding in Maine? I've got a chance for a
quick visit later this month, and don't know where to begin to find
some Maine specialties: Boreal Chickadee, Black-backed Woodpecker,
various oceanic species, etc. Would any of you have some "hot spots"
you could recommend? If so, please reply to me privately. Thanks!
