Doreene Linzell and I visited Glacier Ridge Metro Park (Columbus) from about
11:15 am - 12:15 pm looking for the Marbled Godwit and Virginia Rail that
have been reported there. No luck. There were plenty of Killdeer, a few
yellowlegs (not all identified as to species), a nice Solitary Sandpiper,
and a Green Heron.

The wetlands are not very wet for the most part, with only small patches of
standing water; outlying areas of the wetlands are quite dry.
