I was out this afternoon running an errand, and decided to stop by Glacier Ridge to see if
the reports of the departure of the Marbled Godwit and Virginia Rail were premature. We've
had very cool nights two nights in a row, and I'd heard speculation that they would have
sent them packing.

I arrived a bit after 4:30 PM, and it was raining lightly. Walked out the boardwalk, and
no sign of either MG or VR. There were three Green Herons, one Solitary Sandpiper, a few
Killdeer, and a couple of Mallards in sight. In the deeper pool near the building, a few
Mallards and a huge Bullfrog were seen.

Has anyone seen the Godwit or Rail yesterday or today?
