Wild Turkey- There are at least 2 females bring in her young to
feed at the feeder at the East Blind. This can be seen more often in the
morning & the evening. Around 7:30pm, last night the female turkey & 5
of her young walked up the ramp to the West Blind. They then jumped onto
the railing, then onto the roof of the blind. They then flew into the
pine trees & settled down for the night. This has been happening almost
every evening. The Turkeys can also be seen in the field by the Ranger
Station in the morning. As many as 15 turkeys have been seen there at
one time.
