Three of us birded at Buck Creek State Park (Old Delorme 66A3) this
morning. We found a Caspian Tern and a Herring Gull with the Ring-billed
Gulls on the beach. Then we tramped through a field north of Moorefield
Road just north of the lake. It was very active and we found 10 species
of warblers. Tennessee Warblers and Common Yellowthroats were the most
common but we also saw Nashville Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler,
Magnolia Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, Bay-breasted Warbler, Ovenbird,
Mourning Warbler, and Canada Warbler. Other sightings included
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Baltimore Orioles, and Yellow-billed Cuckoos.
