I was at Conneaut for several hours today until I could not take the dogs and people on the spit any longer

I saw 11 species of shorebirds

I was told prior to my arrival there was a Baird`s Sandpiper and 2 Ruddy Turnstones here that I did not see

Here are some of the birds seen while I was here


1 Stilt Sandpiper

2 Short-billed Dowitcher

6 Sanderling

2 Lesser Yellowlegs

1 Wilson`s Snipe

22 Semi-palmated Sandpiper

9 Least Sandpiper

1 Black-bellied Plover

18 Semi-palmated Plover

1 A. Golden Plover

13 Killdeer

2 Sora

2 Blue-winged Teal

1 Green-winged Teal

4 Great Egret

10 Caspian Tern

1 Common Tern

7 Bonaparte`s Gull

2 Great Black-backed Gull

2 Bald Eagle
