We drove through Englewood Main Metropark and the rain we received
Monday/Tuesday has covered the mudflats--temporarily. They should be back by the
weekend if the weather remains dry. However, we did have some interesting
sightings:

    Great egret - 3
    Great blue heron - 15
    Solitary sp - 3
    Killdeer
    Wood duck
    Cedar waxwings - many
    Red-tailed hawk - imm.
Peregrine falcon - a real treat! Saw it fly in and viewed it
through the scope in the top of a dead
                                cottonwood tree.
