The highlight at Lorain Impoundment at mid-morning, was a cooperative RED-NECKED PHALAROPE. Photos can be seen here, of the phalarope and some Coliseum-site sparrows: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28939750@N05/
Other shorebirds at Lorain were scarce: Black-bellied Plover 1, Semipalmated Plover 26, Lesser Yellowlegs 1, Semi Sandpiper 2, Least Sandpiper 1, Pectoral Sandpiper 1, and Short-billed Dowitcher 1. Eleven warbler sp, both kinglets, and 13 Soras were also present.
I visited the Coliseum site earlier...no sharp-taileds today. One Henslow's Sparrow was the highlight, and single Solitary Sandpiper, woodcock, and snipe were also present.
Good birding -
