Friday, Sept. 12
The south end of the lake (water too deep) held 1 shorebird (spotted sp
standing on a log) plus 30 great blues and 1 great egret.
All other sightings were from the middle to the north end of the mudflats.
According to park personnel, 4 inches of rain are expected from Hurricane Ike
by the first of the week. Goodbye mudflats?

Green-backed heron
Killdeer - 200+
Short-billed dowitcher - 3
Semipalmated sp - 1
Stilt sp - 2
