This afternoon I spoke to Paul Wharton, who found and reported the Western Kingbird at Fernald Preserve (Hamilton County), and he told me he had not been back to the site since the day he first found the bird. I didn't think to ask Paul about the actual date of his sighting but I believe that the correct date was Sunday morning September 7; the same day Paul posted the report. As Paul Gardner noted, and to my knowledge, there have been no subsequent reports of the bird.
