Hello!

I just returned from Hoover where I observed a Marbled Godwit from the end
of the boardwalk looking towards the far shoreline to the SE (right of the old
bridge and left of the Osprey platform). Other shorebirds included the
usual cast of characters: both Yellowlegs, Pectoral Sandpipers, Least
Sandpipers, Semipalmated Sandpipers and Plovers, Stilt Sandpipers, and one lone
Short-Billed Dowitcher. A brief walk along the east shore turned up 2 Sanderlings
and a Black-Bellied/American Golden Plover (I couldn't it make out as I was
looking into the sun).
