I was having some internet problems so excuse the delay in posting. A
SHARP-TAILED SPARROW was seen at Arcola Creek Estuary on Friday. The bird
was found in a large area of jewelweed in the southern end of the marsh.
Also found in the marsh were least bittern, Virginia rail, several soras,
and a marsh wren. Water levels are up in the marsh making getting around
difficult. Add to that vast areas of tear thumb and you have some
difficult walking conditions.

At my house today i had twelve species of warblers including a single
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER.
