four (4) or five (5) adult little gulls were found among the hordes of bonaparte's gulls at the west end of headlands beach this morning (09/21/2008). again it was easiest to pick out the little gulls when they would be flying close to and/or landing on the beach itself. good numbers of 13 species of warblers were in the woods just east of the fisherman's path also. highlights were 2 northern parula warblers and 6+ cape may warblers.
