Spent some time in East Harbor this weekend. Didn't go specifically to bird, but was able to see a few good sightings:

Belted kingfisher-2
Pie Billed Grebe-8
Mute Swans-13
Great Black Backed Gull-1

Swans have been there all year. At times, I've seen as many as 20. I could watch the grebes all day. They were swimming so low in the water, at times, only their heads could be seen. GBB Gull just sat on a post on the pier and was very cooperative. Numerous terns were also in the harbor, but I'm no confident enough with my identification of each species of tern to post exactly which type they were.
