Nothing unusual among the shorebirds this morning - lots of Killdeer, and a small
assortment of Solitary, Lesser Yellowlegs, Least, and at least one Pectoral (I've been
seeing them for the past several days). Mid-morning, there were *no* Great Blue Herons or
Great Egrets visible, but plenty of Geese and Mallards.

The limping Marbled Godwit, which had become a regular at this mudflats for the past few
weeks, has been absent since Thursday afternoon 9/18. When last seen, the limp was nearly
gone.

I was looking for Warblers this morning, and saw two Yellow-rumped and one Black-and-White
Warbler (the first I've seen) in one of the large trees near the parking area West of
Dublin. I'm going to try to get a few better photos of it this week.

Here is the current state of the shallow pool West of Dublin Road where the shorebirds
have been feeding. The pool in the foreground is at the viaduct that crosses under Dublin
road, and none of the water is more than one or two inches deep.
