I had a great sighting at about 11:20 a.m. this morning of a Bald Eagle from the boat ramp at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park near downtown Columbus. The eagle was flying north from the Greenlawn Dam area. It made several lazy circles above the Scioto River in the area just north of the boat ramp. It eventually worked its way north and out of view up the Scioto. I had two guests from out of town with me and they could not believe we were seeing this bird so close to downtown.
