This morning there was a single Male Ring-necked Duck at Scioto Audubon
Metro Park near downtown Columbus. It was with several Canada Geese and
Mallards in the northern-most pond of the new wetland on the east side of
Whittier Street.

There were only small numbers of birds along the bike path. I found only
three warbler species, Black-throated Green, Magnolia and Bay-breasted. The
only other birds of note were four Great Egrets, three Great Blue Herons,
seven Double-crested Cormorants and one Belted Kingfisher.
