The 5 White Pelicans were still present tonight at 7 PM at Hoover Reservoir. They were sitting on a rocky shoal which usually holds gulls and commorants that is about due East of Wiese Rd. and could be viewed from the Galena (Area M) boardwalk.

One juvenile Osprey and one adult were present around the nest platform. There were no new shorebird species from the past week. Three Common Nighthawks passed by the boardwalk.

I also checked the beach at Alum Creek State Park earlier in the evening where there were only Ring-billed Gulls and a few Spotted Sandpipers.
