Wes Hatch and I shot over to the boardwalk at Hoover today and had the
following hightlights:

Osprey- 2
Green Heron- 1
Great Egret- 2
Belted Kingfisher- 2

Shorebirds- 11 spp.:
Killdeer- 25
Semipalmated Plover- 3
Greater Yellowlegs- 2
Lesser Yellowlegs- 10
Solitary Sandpiper- 7
Spotted Sandpiper- 1
Pectoral Sandpiper- 6
Baird's Sanpiper- 1
Semipalmated Sandpiper- 5
Least Sandpiper- 12
Stilt Sandpiper- 1

As a side note, the north end of Delaware Lake seems to be much more
profitable for shorebirds. It has much more extensive mudflats then
anything at Hoover. It is where 229 goes across the lake. I believe
there were 250+ shorebirds there the day Jack and I visited last
weekend, significantly more than what I've seen from Hoover this year.
See Jack's post from Sunday (8/31).
