This morning I ran into Bob Baran and Steve Jones on the boardwalk at
Hoover. We went over to the old road leading north from the Eastshore
Yacht Club. Somewhere along that road, before we got to the old bridge,
we cut down to the water's edge and found an excellent view of the five
white pelicans reported by Cari Waldren yesterday. Also seem were
numerous killdeer, great blue herons, green herons, and double crested
cormorants. A single adult bald eagle also flew by. It was well worth
the trip.
