Must have passed Su on the gravel Road, I arrived at near 5:00 and waited until aroound 6 when the storks returned. Instead of going down into the pond they went to their roost over in the sycamore tree. I was able to take my daughter with me and she had another "cool" day. :)

It was hilarious watching the Wood Storks feed...After they preened until the last possible moment, they went down to the pond to fish...For some strange reason they reminded me of Hamlet...(Double Double Toil and Trouble...) Every time that a stork would get a catfish, the Heron would come over and try to take it away. So Stork would fly to another corner of the pond.

In addition to the Heron and the Storks, we also saw 1 soitary sandpiper (ironic isn't it) and 1 green heron.

Took lots of great pics, I will post tomorrow.

HappyBirding and God Bless
