Well I confirmed one of the Great Horns tonight. Spotted him just across the
field from the back yard. Not the greatest picture due to the time of day
and the ten second exposure but a good find non the less. I'm hoping the
pair have a home close by.

Subject: Great Horned Owls in Hilliard

Over the past several days, we have heard Great Horned Owls in the trees
surrounding our yard in Hilliard. Two were heard the other night around 1
am. I have been unable to get out and get a serious look around. There is a
large old Oak tree near the edge of the field that has broken in two and has
a large cavity. I'm hoping their hunkering down there and calling it home.
