Starting on October 13 and going through to April 18, I will be conducting
birdwalks at Lazelle Woods. Many of the people (adults and children) who
use the park have stopped me when they see me birding to ask me about what
I'm doing. In addition, one of the local schools (I'm not sure which one)
has assigned a birdwatching project to its fourth graders. So there is
some interest in the area. I thought this might fill a void since there
really aren't any nature programs at Lazelle Woods right now. I thought
this might be a good way to get the local children interested in
environmental issues.

If anyone is interested, just send me an email and I'll email you the
schedule.

This has been cleared with the director at the Lazelle Woods rec center.
