I  watched an orange crowned warbler, in my fields this evening, for
almost an hour.
He was foraging in a densely vegetated field, a combination of
buckthorn stems and goldenrod.
Although hard to see all of at any one moment, I could see the slight
streaking on the yellowish
breast and sides, the yellowish undertail coverts and the split eye
ring. Head looked greyish, and
the orange crown remained concealed.

He stayed in the same area (say under an acre)
for a long time, poking into the leaves, until I finally lost track of
him.

Otherwise, still lots of palms and yellowrumps.
Both kinglets in the shrubs and pines by the pond.

Little flocks of white crowned sparrows, a few white throated
sparrows, one Lincoln's.
Red breasted nuthatches in the pines around the house.
