Hey all -

A SHORT-EARED OWL flushed at Lorain Impoundment this afternoon, and a single NELSON'S SHARP-TAILED SPARROW was seen here well on Saturday. Shorebirds included Black-bellied Plover (2) and snipe Sat. and Dunlin (2) Sun. 150 or so White-crowned Sparrows on Sat. had diminished a bit today.

Three-four NELSON'S were at Wake Robin Trail, this morning.

On another note, Pine Siskins were moving along the lakefront in force, this weekend. A flock of 20 was seen today at Lorain, and plenty of singles and smaller groups were seen throughout the weekend at Lorain, Wake Robin, and over my very own front yard in Old Brooklyn.

Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
