Birders,

Listen and look for Pine siskins. Over the past week I have heard them
along Lake Erie shoreline and this weekend (Oct. 11 and 12) a flock of 5 or
6 were feasting on the white pine and Norway spruce seeds in our yard in
Middleburg Hts. (SW suburb of Cleveland). Our white pines had a bumper crop
of cones . I dread picking them up from the yard once they start falling.
