This evening around 4:45 I had two CAVE SWALLOWS flying on the lake off my
house in North Perry. They were flying around and appeared to be catching
insects. They flew around for around ten minutes or so before they flew
east. There is an old boathouse just off the beach in the park, but they
ignored it and headed out of sight. If you're out this weekend keep your
eyes open, because there are still evidently a few still around.

It was pretty calm offshore and I was able to see several common loons and
horned grebes offshore. Surprisingly not a single gull.
