...before Thanksgiving my true love gave to me...3 pine Siskins , 2 brown creepers and a Red-bellied Wo-odpecker.

:-)

Yep 3 Siskins are at my feeder right now. A new one for my feeders here in LaRue.

I was trying out my new monopod and looked down at what I thought at first were just more female house finches...Then I saw the back and that little bit of yellow... I is a happy camper today!

In addition to the above, I have seen both Downys and Hairys at my feeder, come to think of it, Hairys are a first for here as well.
A dozen of both House Finch and Sparrows
10-12 Goldfinches
At least four Chickadees
3 Juncos that's +1 more than usual.
At least two titmice
And my Carolina Wren

...and as I am writing this, I think I had my first male purple finch as well. I couldn't get a good look at the head, because I am across the room at my computer, but the red on it's under parts went farther than the other House Finches that are at the feeder, and it was WAY deeper in color as well. Due to the red, I didn't see many stripes on it's underbelly...I'll have to investigate a some more. Can someone add insight?

Busy day

Good Birding and God Bless
