There were 2 SHARP-TAILED SPARROWS at Arcola Creek Estuary in extreme
northeast Lake County today. There were lots of sparrows in the marsh
including swamp, song, white-throated and white-crowned. I also had a sora
and common snipe in the marsh. Water levels are up and there were a few
areas where knee-high boots were not enough.

The LE CONTES SPARROW was on private property in Leroy Township in southern
Lake County.

The NORTHERN SHRIKE was southeast of the intersection of Bates Road and
Route 307 in Madison Township, Lake County.
