I had time today to check-out both the cemetery on Rt. 91 and Sims Park in
Euclid for the Cackling Geese.

The bird off Sims Park in Euclid was easy to identify relative to the Canada
Geese it was hanging with. However, I'm not sure about the cemetery bird.
I welcome the opinion of those who know better to say for sure if this is
the Cackling Goose. It was associated with several Canada Geese which were,
relatively speaking, much larger, had longer necks and lighter breasts than
this bird. However, I also saw some larger Canada Geese with dark breasts
but otherwise looked like their lighter-plumaged brethren (or sisteren, as
it may be!). Also, for those who have already seen this bird, maybe they
can recall if it was banded as this one is.
