My Dad & I had the treat of watching a Pomerine & a Parasitic Jaeger harassing each other and a huge flock of Bonaparte's Gulls just beyond the lighthouse at Lorain Harbor early Thursday (11/13) morning. They spent considerable time literally within inches of each other providing great comparisons.
Most of the many Bonaparte's were heading west making us wish we had time to check the harbor at Huron which we did not.
We also had 23 Black Scoters at Sims Park and re-found the Mayfield Cackling Goose in the lawn at Progressive Insurance on N. Chagrin Parkview Rd.
