A Northern Shrike was at Frohring Meadows (Geauga Co.) at noon today.

Linda Gilbertt let me know that one had been seen there late yesterday
and
wondered if it could be the same bird that had been in my fields for
the last
couple of weeks.

I didn't see a n. shrike here last night, or after a pretty careful
look this morning,
so I think it may well be the same bird. The power line easement cuts
across
my fields and the fields at Frohring, and I am guessing that the bird
follows the
easement. It's only about two miles.

I found him perched atop a shrub alongside the easement.
