This AM Rick Asamoto called to tell me he had a SURF SCOTER aat Caesar Creek.He was calling from the Northern Boat Ramp (reached by turning at the water tower) but he thought it might be closer to Harveysburg Road where I met him. The bird was not visible from there but when we drove back to the Northern Boat Ramp  Rick found it swumming near a larger duck and a Common Loon. We could only see it with a scope and by zooming in on it. It was pretty much straight out and of course may have moved by the time I am posting this.
