Troy Shively reports the goose pond on the south side of US 33 just west
of New Hampshire is finally hosting some birds. He saw a bunch of white
geese (no optics, so no estimate if any Ross's), a tundra swan, as well
as a dozen or so sandhill cranes there a few minutes ago. If past is
prologue, this should continue to be a productive spot for the near
future if you're in the area.
