The first Purple Finches of the season also arrived in Morgan County on this day with two males at my feeders this morning.  Also, one Pine Siskin has been mixed in with the 30-35 Goldfinches that are coming to the thistle feeder.  This past Sunday was the first day for the Pine Siskin.

The first Purple Finches have arrived at my feeders. This morning , there
were 2 males and 1 female among the goldfinches. Still no Pine Siskins, but
plenty of juncos and White-throats as well as 1 male towhee.
