The Philadelphia Vireo was seen yesterday several times and also this morning feeding on Arrowwood and Bay berries. And no, I was unable to get a picture. I will keep trying.??It is very active and acrobatic--- kind of like a ckickadee or a kinglet---and very difficult to find just sitting long enough or close enough to get a picture. Fortunately we are off work through Sunday and will be able to look for it. We see it mostly in the early morning. I keep hoping that it will find the heated bird bath on the deck and decide to freshen up.
We took?Wednesday through Sunday off in hope of spending a couple of days birding the lakefront, but the vireo has been too compelling to leave and today we were not sure about driving up to the lake. Maybe we will make there tomorrow.

Good birding everyone, Shari
